Garcinia cambogia is a fresh fruit also called Gambooge. The fruit is indigenous to parts of Asia and Africa and utilized frequently in cooking. In conventional medicine, Garcinia cambogia has been employed as a stool conditioner and to treat constipation. The fresh fruit is getting plenty of fans after Oz featured the product on his tv program. While he touted it as yet another weight loss miracle, the signs for Garcinia cambogia’s effectiveness is debateable at best.
